EVENING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

CCET’s Evening Program is by far the oldest intervention  program  for  individuals with learning disabilities in Kuwait. It was established in 1984 to provide one-to-one dedicated tutorials for individuals with learning disabilities so as to equip them with the necessary techniques and strategies to overcome the challenges of being learning disabled.

CCET makes its Evening Program services available for parents who either do not have the chance to enroll their children in the Day Program, or who prefer their children stay at their mainstream or private school during the day.

CCET’s Evening Program accepts Arabic speaking as well as English speaking individuals with learning disabilities. Following a comprehensive assessment to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the individual, an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) is then drawn up which takes into account the individual’s cognitive profile and which aims to enhance the individual’s literacy and numeracy performance.

CCET monitors the progress of individuals attending the Evening Program and periodical reports are shared with them and their parents in order to maximize the benefits of the type of intervention being offered
